Science Advantage contacted Bravo Charlie in relation to the newly formed and federally funded RMIT SPACE centre.  The task was to conduct and film three stakeholder interviews, produce the footage and then display them on multiple plasma screens at the rear of Storey Hall during launch night.  The media was well received on the night and a fascinating project for us! Learn Football – iPhone training application

Referred to an ex-Socceroo to film instructional DVD’s, Bravo Charlie worked with the founders of Learn Football to architect a media creation and distribution plan based on their business objectives of an easily sharable training tool, suited to young to early adult soccer fans and players, that they could grow and manage themselves.

The group filmed and produced 36 educational short videos for the mobile app, worked on a PR strategy and ultimately got the application into the “New and Noteworthy” section of the itunes store.  A wordpress websiteyoutube channel (37,000+ views), twitterfacebook (4,000+ fans) and mailchimp newsletter system was created to form the ‘social media system’.

Bravo Charlie filmed in both Melbourne and Queensland, including training the founders in video production, content updating and system maintenance.

Learn Football reached their business goals of selling enough version 1 iphone apps to cover version 2 development within 6 months, now having done over 50 of their own short videos!

Jon Barrie (graphics and editing),  Tey Vanenberg (intro / outro ‘stings’) and SwebbApps (mobile application developers) were instrumental to the final product;

I am quite impressed at how professional, considered, creative and non-intrusive he was while we were doing such deep personal work.  I found Philip had lots of ideas and still was receptive to mine.  He gave more than I asked and I am grateful for his work.” – Deva Nandan

What do you think?  Does video ‘capture the feel’ of it?
